If you write to me through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp, I process the data you provide (name, email, phone if given, message) only to reply and, if you wish, to prepare a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Messages sent through the form are forwarded to my email and stored in the site’s dashboard.
Only if you accept it in the banner, I use Google Analytics for aggregate visit statistics (pages viewed, source, device). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Portfolio videos are hosted on YouTube and embedded in privacy-enhanced mode. They are loaded only after you consent to “external content”. Legal basis: consent.
Only if you accept it, the site may measure the results of any Google Ads campaigns. Legal basis: consent.
To protect the site from unauthorised access, the IP addresses of failed login attempts to the private area are stored temporarily, for about 15 minutes. The server may also keep technical logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you make a choice in the cookie banner I record the choice, the date, a random identifier, the browser used and the anonymised IP address, so I can demonstrate consent as required by Art. 7 GDPR.
Contact requests: as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a working relationship begins (billing data is then kept for 10 years as required by law). Consent records: 24 months. Google Analytics data: 14 months. Failed login attempts: about 15 minutes.
Data is never sold or transferred to third parties. It may be processed, as data processors, by the site’s hosting provider, the email service and, for the services you consented to, Google Ireland Ltd (Analytics, YouTube, Ads) and Meta (WhatsApp, if you choose to contact me there). Some of these providers may transfer data to the United States on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing at any time (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), and withdraw consent without affecting what was done before. Just write to info@valerioallibrio.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.
Providing data in the contact form is optional, but without name, email and message I cannot reply. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
